WhatsApp Channels is a brand-new feature introduced by WhatsApp. It’s a unidirectional broadcast tool where administrators can send text, photos, videos, stickers, and polls. WhatsApp Channels is located under the “Latest Messages” tab, allowing users to view statuses and channels they have followed, ensuring it doesn’t mix with other conversations and groups.

How to Get Started on WhatsApp Channels?
1. On the “Latest Messages” page in WhatsApp, choose “Create Channel.”
2. Read and accept the service terms and privacy policy.
3. Input a channel name, description, and select an image.
4. Once the above steps are completed, click on “Create Channel.”
Users can also search the WhatsApp Channels directory to find channels of interest swiftly, be it about personal preferences, sports teams, or the latest government news. Sharing a channel is straightforward – select “Share” within the “Channel” page and copy the link.
As a Channel admin, you can view the follower count, approximate channel update views and emoji reactions. You can also see who follows your channel if they are already your WhatsApp contact.

How to Get a Verified WhatsApp Channels?
WhatsApp has verified channels with a green checkmark next to their name as being authentic.

However, as WhatsApp stated, WhatsApp Channels is a new feature, and it will release more functions to help businesses grow.
Note: WhatsApp Channels is available on WhatsApp App and WhatsApp Business App only. Users can directly create WhatsApp Channels in the App.

The carousel template can include up to 10 cards, images or videos, and a maximum of two Call-to-Action (CTA) and/or Quick Reply Native Flow Message (NFM) buttons. Starting September 18th, this feature is available only on Cloud API.
